Rip Cards are one of the reasons that Allen & Ginter is such a popular product. The rip cards are each numbered on the front, only up to 99 in the 2010 set. Inside of each rip card is a rip card exclusive mini card, including the extended mini set, red ink autographs, mini wood exclusives (paralleling the extended set) and Allen & Ginter originals, which are portrait paintings that are signed and numbered by A&G artist Jeff Zachowski.
Collectors that are lucky enough to find a rip card (they show around one per case) have a choice ahead of them. They can keep the card intact, or they can rip it open to find out what card is inside. It can be a tough decision.
